“Yallingup Beach” is a landscape study of the well known location at Yallingup, with its surf break and long white-sand beach, on the south-west coast of Western Australia. For many holiday makers, it is an iconic holiday destination to spend the long summer days at the beach, walking the pooch, swimming, snorkelling or surfing. It’s turquoise waters make for those #nofilter shots you see on social media. This painting was a private commission by a lovely couple who fell in love with WA’s turquoise waters at this very spot, and return regularly to relax and unwind on holiday.
